City of Englewood residents receive a discount on classes and activities. In order to register and receive the discount rate, residents must have a valid Englewood Recreation ID. If you don't already have a resident ID, you can get one at the Englewood Recreation Center (1155 W. Oxford Avenue). You'll need to bring one valid photo ID (Colorado Driver's License/ID card, or passport) and one other form of proof of your address (vehicle registration, utility bill, phone bill, cable bill, credit card bill). Recreation ID Cards cost $3 and are valid for three years from the date of purchase.
Resident Enrollment Priority
Englewood residents are given enrollment priority into activities at the beginning of each registration period. During this short period (48 hours), non-resident registrations are accepted and prioritized by date and time. Once the residency enrollment period has concluded, available activity space is filled by non-resident participants in the order received. Following this process, all registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If the activity or class you want to register for is full, you can put your name on a waiting list. Activities may be added if there is sufficient interest.
Don't Miss Out
If you are interested in a class, don't wait until the last minute to register. We make class/trip decisions based on enrollment. If a class doesn't meet its minimum enrollment, it will be cancelled.
Transfers: If you are unable to attend a class or activity for which you have registered, but would like to transfer into another class, we can accommodate the change up to the first day of the class at no charge in most program areas. Transfers for Outdoor Adventure or Excursion programs will be charged a $3.00 service charge per transfer.
Refunds/Credits: If you are unable to attend a class or activity, you can request a refund or you can opt for a household credit to be used toward future activities. Refund requests made prior to 24 hours before the first class will not be assessed a penalty. If you request a refund after the start of an activity, contact the program administrator for the class to discuss your refund options. If an activity is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be granted.
Americans with Disabilities
We are committed to supporting and complying with the American with Disabilities Act. If you require special accommodations, please notify the Recreation department at least two weeks in advance of the activity.
