Full-Day Weaving Class

Explore the world of weaving on a rigid heddle Loom. Learn how to make a scarf that is approx. 7 x 60. Gain insight into weaving terminology, figure warp and weft and design possibilities! Consider supporting the local weaving store (Blazing Star) on Broadway for supplies. They will help to choose the proper yarn for class (250-350 yards of yarn are needed). Supply list will be emailed to registered students prior to class.

TLC Embroidery

Gather with other needle crafters to create various embroidery crafts. Patrons must provide all own materials. TLC Embroidery is an open format setting without an instructor. Patrons must have prior knowledge on needle crafts. This open studio is available for all needle crafts including embroidery, bunka, needlepoint, cross stitch, quilting, crochet and knitting.

Beginning Crochet Class

In this class we will learn the chain stitch and single crochet to start a simple scarf. Bring one skein of 4 ply acrylic yarn in the color of your choice. Hooks will be provided during class.

Creative Pottery

Explore various methods of hand building, slip casting & sculpting to create three pieces of art in each six-week session. All glazes, underglazes & kiln firings included. Clay fee is $15 for every 25 pounds of clay which is payable to instructor.

Drawing and Painting Class

Explore the world of art by drawing, painting and sketching! This class welcomes a variety of medium options including colored pencil, watercolor or acrylic paint – you choose! Escape to a creative place where skills can sharpen and creativity grow. All levels are welcome.

Open Paint Studio 

Come together with community painters to work. Whether you are an amateur or an expert, open studio welcomes you. This program is a student-led workshop and does not have an instructor. Students bring personal supplies for Open Paint Studio.

Drop-In Woodcarving

Continue to work on a woodcarving project and join other experienced carvers while you work. This group is a drop-in style class that encourages socialization while working independently in a self-led workshop setting.

Join other crafters in the community and socialize while working on a craft project of choice. Patrons bring all necessary supplies to projects. Self-led; large craft tables and sink available for use.
