The City of Englewood's Parks, Recreation, Library and Golf Department strives to maintain the best parks and open spaces in the metro area to meet the needs and issues of the community. Below are park projects that are currently in the planning/design or construction phase or have recently been completed. Background
In March 2017, Englewood City Council adopted the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to serve as a road map for future park development/redevelopment and provide a balance of facilities, amenities and recreation programs for the next 10 years.
In July 2023, the Department of Parks, Recreation, Library and Golf updated the 2017 Master Plan Recommendations Sections (Chapter 3) to outline key improvements to Englewood's parks, opens spaces and facilities to meet the current needs and issues of the community.

Past Projects
Bates Logan Park:
- 2938 S. Logan St.
- New pavilion, restroom, ADA improvements for pathways and parking lot and landscape improvements.
- New pump track, as well as a bicycle playground and skills course and bocce ball court.
Baker Park:
- 2200 W. Wesley Ave.
- New restroom, picnic shelter and playground
- Walking Path
Centennial Park:
- 4630 S. Decatur St.
- New playground, restroom, picnic shelter (by playground) and basketball court
Cushing Park:
- 700 W. Dartmouth Ave
- New restroom, pavilion (Cushing #1 by playground), skate park and fitness court
Jason Park:
- 4299 S. Jason St.
- New pavilion, restroom, playground, basketball court and irrigation improvements
