Englewood Community Garden

Applications for the 2026 garden season are now being accepted.    

The Englewood Community Garden is an organic garden located at 601 W Dartmouth Avenue at the Englewood Depot site.  The garden includes full plots (12' x 12') and half plots (6' x 12'), two ADA approved raised beds and two food bank plots.

Application Process: 
 
All gardeners are required to apply each year.  Returning gardeners and Englewood residents will have priority until March 1, 2026.  Gardeners must be 18 years or older to apply.  Your application will not be processed until all information is received and application is signed.  A plot will not be assigned until fees are paid.  New gardeners will be notified after March 1, 2026 in regard to availability of a plot in the order that applications are received.  New gardeners will receive half plots.


Instructions for Completing Application:

1)   Applications are online.  Click here to access the application.
2)   Complete all required fields.  Click the submit button.  
3)   You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.  Parks and Recreation staff will review your application and respond back to you within five (5) business days.
4)   If you are a returning gardener, you will receive an email when you can make payment for your plot with options for how you can make payment.
5)  If you are a new gardener, you will receive an email when you have been placed on the waitlist while staff determines available plots.  You will be placed on the waitlist in the order applications are received with Englewood residents having priority until March 1st.  If a garden plot is available, you will receive an email informing you that you have been assigned a plot with directions on how to make payment. 
  


2026 Garden Fees:

    • Full Plot:   $40
    • Half Plot:  $25

Water, compost and some tools are provided.
