Summer Drama Sponsorship Application

Interested in volunteering to support this one-of-a-kind program?
We are seeking committed individuals to assist with set building and painting, tech support, concessions, and ushers.

Volunteers will receive one free ticket per 4 hour volunteer shift (limit 4 tickets).

Volunteer Interest Form

All persons wanting to be in the show must first audition. Please prepare one minute of song and one minute of monologue that is not from Footloose the Musical, an accompanist will be available. Memorization is not required, but strongly encouraged. Headshots are not required, a reference photo will be taken at the audition.

Rehearsals

Ages: 13 & older

Location: The Englewood Campus 3800 S. Logan St.

  *Please note all participants, regardless of age, could be asked to be at Dress Rehearsals until 11 p.m., as well as until 11 p.m. during the Friday and Saturday shows.

Evening rehearsals are for cast members 13 years and older. A specific schedule of required attendance is given out before rehearsals begin. All cast members, parents, and children need to attend the first rehearsal for important information.

Program Fee
A program fee is required for all actors and actresses performing in the production. Fee: $25

Drama Classes

Ages: 8-13 yrs. old

Location: Englewood High School

These drama classes will inspire children of all abilities to act, sing & dance. Self-esteem, confidence, and creativity will be built through instructions in vocals, dance, and acting. It is a great way to participate in live theater. The child actors will perform a smaller-scale show of their own on the final day of class. A child can participate and register for the class and not be in the large production. All children 8-13 years old who audition and are selected to be in the final production must register for class.

Schedule:

• Class will be held June 17 - July 18 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

• Class only: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-10:30 a.m.

• Class and Production of Footloose: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

• Youth Performance on July 18 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
