Federal Food Assistance
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, offers monthly benefits to low-income households in Colorado to purchase food, with eligibility based on income and household size.
- To see if you qualify, complete this pre-screening tool on the Colorado PEAK website. (Note: This tool is not an application for SNAP.)
How to apply for SNAP:
- Apply online using the Colorado PEAK website.
- Use the MyCOBenefits app on your smartphone.
- Print the application of your choice below, fill it out and return it by mail, fax or in person to your county human services office.
- Call our SNAP outreach partner, Hunger Free Colorado, at (855) 855-4626 for help completing an application over the phone.

Grace Point Community ChurchWe provide food and necessities to people in need by partnering with the Food Bank of the Rockies. We draw for order of entry using raffle tickets, so there is no need to arrive early and wait in line. Childcare is provided for kids from birth through 5th-grade, where they will participate in crafts and activities.

The Market @ IFCS is a free grocery store allowing people earning low-incomes or no incomes to shop for their basic needs twice a month. Open Monday through Friday, visitors of the market must check-in prior to shopping the market. Visitors that arrive after check-in will not be able to shop the market. The food pantry ministry supplements the pantries of local families, honoring self-declared need. Recipients may choose foods best for their household. Ministry volunteers load the food directly into client vehicles.

This ministry offers a wide variety of medical services free-of-charge. This volunteer-run clinic is staffed by multiple certified MD’s, registered nurses, medical students, and non-medical professionals. They provide on-going treatment for many guests on Sunday afternoons, including blood work, prescriptions, foot-care, and consultations.

Tri-Cities’ Homeless Navigation Center will offer 20 short-term beds and essential day programming. This center will concentrate on collaborative case management to identify opportunities and address obstacles for individuals seeking long-term housing solutions, including application to the Ready to Work program. It is important to note that the Navigation Center is not an emergency weather shelter or a drop-off location for overnight lodging.

Three Birds AllianceThree Birds Alliance offers emergency and extended stay shelter options for victims of domestic violence, their children and their pets. The emergency shelter houses victims for up to 30 days, while the extended stay shelter houses victims for up to 90 days, connecting clients with critical social supports to help get them on their path to healing and independence.
