Sustainability Grant

Community groups, businesses, or individuals can apply for up to $1,000 for their Englewood-based sustainability project.

Compost & Mulch Program

The Cities of Englewood and Sheridan, in partnership with A1 Organics, are launching a pilot program this year offering residents a $25 discount on their first cubic yard of mulch, compost, or soils from A1 Organics.

Friday, April 17

Sustainable Business Partnership: Tee Up for Electrification from 8 to 9 a.m.

Join us for a morning of coffee, connection, and conversation at the course. Co-hosted by the Sustainable Business Partnership of the Tri-Cities and the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, this 8 – 9:00 a.m. coffee hour brings together businesses from Sheridan, Englewood, and Littleton.

Representatives from Xcel Energy will be on hand to share information about available rebates, incentive programs, and practical electrification strategies that can help businesses reduce operating costs and plan for future upgrades. Drive Clean Colorado will also be at this event, showcasing electric vehicles and charging options. 

Thank you to Broken Tee Golf Course for hosting and providing a complimentary bucket of balls for attendees to enjoy the driving range while continuing conversations with fellow business leaders.

Rain Barrel Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m.

Join us for a Rain Barrel Workshop on April 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room at 1000 Englewood Parkway on the 2nd floor. Learn how to collect and reuse rainwater to conserve water, reduce runoff and support a healthier environment. Perfect for anyone looking to make a sustainable impact at home! Saturday, April 25

South Platte Renew's River Clean Up from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

South Platte Renew, the region’s wastewater treatment agency, will host its annual River Clean-Up Day April 25. Picking up discarded trash and recyclables helps keep green spaces and waterways looking great and improves public health and the environment by preventing pollution from seeping into vital water sources.

Earth Day Celebration from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Enjoy all the fun Earth Day activities in one location this year! The city is hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration at the same time and location as the South Platte Renew's Annual River Clean-Up at Centennial Park. This family friendly event is a fantastic way to connect with neighbors, learn about environmental initiatives and celebrate our beautiful planet together.
