The Englewood Community Garden is full for 2025.  Applications are no longer being accepted.    

2025 Garden Season 

  • Community Garden Plots in the summer time with vegetable plants and flowers2025 Garden Fees:
    • Full Plot:   $40
    • Half Plot:  $25
  • Applications will not be processed until all information is provided, application is signed and fees are paid.
  •  New gardeners will be notified after March 1, 2025 in regard to availability of a plot in the order that applications are received.
  • New gardeners will receive half plots.

Quick Facts

  • The Englewood Community Garden is an organic garden located at 601 W. Dartmouth Avenue, just north of Cushing Park at the Englewood Depot site.
  • All gardeners practice organic gardening methods.
  • The garden includes full plots (12' x 12') and half plots (12' x 6') in addition to two ADA approved raised beds.
  • Water, compost and some tools are provided.
  • Plot holders volunteer a minimum of fifteen (15) hours per season by participating with maintenance of the garden and serving on committees designed to maximize the garden's potential.
  • Community gardeners are encouraged to donate extra produce from their garden to local food banks.
  • Social and educational events are scheduled throughout the growing season.
