Since joining the Englewood Police Department in 1983, Commander Englert has served in a variety of assignments throughout his career. He is committed to providing quality customer service to the citizens of Englewood.

The Special Operations Division is comprised of the Detective Bureau, Impact Team, Professional Standards Bureau, Code Enforcement Unit and Property & Evidence Unit. For more information on these services, please refer to the following links:

Detective Bureau -- Ten detectives and two detective sergeants provide investigative follow-up on criminal cases.

Impact Team -- Four officers and one sergeant focus on issues that directly impact the quality-of-life in the City. 

Professional Standards Bureau -- One sergeant and one investigator provide a variety of services, including background/personnel investigations, public information and training.

Code Enforcement -- Four code officers and one supervisor assist residents with maintaining the appearance of their properties. They also handle animal welfare calls.

Property & Evidence -- Responsible for processing and storing all property and evidence that is booked into the police department.

Crime Statistics -- A recap of crime statistics for the past month with a year-to-date comparison.
