Othoniel Sierra: Mayor: Four-Year Term Candidate

Othoniel SierraI have served on City Council since 2018 and as your Mayor since 2021. Over the past seven years, we’ve made major progress—revitalizing South Broadway and the Wellness District, advancing sustainability, and investing heavily in water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.

Looking ahead, my priority is to expand on these successes across all Englewood neighborhoods.

Revitalizing City Center & Southern half of South Broadway
City Council will decide on the future of our City Center this fall on activating the area.  We’ve also launched a Complete Streets project for the southern stretch of South Broadway, building on improvements already made in the Wellness District and Northern end of South Broadway. This will enhance walkability, support small businesses, and create a more vibrant community hub.

Investing in Streets & Infrastructure
Projects like the North Broadway Public Realm initiative and the South Broadway Revitalization are underway with strong resident and business input through community subcommittees. These efforts ensure improvements reflect the voices of those who live and work here.

Improving Safety for All
With more families choosing Englewood and with new investments in our parks, safety is a top priority. We will expand traffic-calming measures and create safer street crossings for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.

With me as your mayor, Englewood has taken bold steps forward—attracting small businesses, strengthening infrastructure, and leading on safety & sustainability. I am committed to building on this progress, and I ask for your support to continue serving as your mayor.
