City of Englewood, Colorado
Home MenuKim Wright: District 4: Four-Year Term Candidate
Englewood has been more than just where I live, it's home. It's where I've raised my family, watched my children grow into their own lives, and built lasting relationships with neighbors who feel like family. Our community is close-knit, resilient, and supportive, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
I'm not a career politician. I stepped into public service to represent people—not to push an agenda. As your current at-large council member, I've built a reputation as someone who listens, responds, and genuinely cares about the concerns of residents. As my seat transitions into the role of elected mayor, I'm running to represent District 4 because I want to continue serving with integrity, transparency, and heart.
On City Council, I have:
- Increased accountability in city contracts
- Reform outdated and inefficient procedures
- Make government communication more transparent and accessible
- Hosted Town Halls—bringing people together to ensure every voice is heard
Moving forward, my objectives are:
- Strengthening and modernizing infrastructure
- Promoting collaboration and cooperation among city leaders
- Upholding open, transparent government and responsible budgeting
- Ensuring citizens right to elect the Judge, rather than leaving the choice to Council
Englewood's rich variety of cultures and backgrounds is one of our greatest strengths. Every resident, whether a homeowner or renter, deserves respect, representation, and responsiveness from their local government. With thoughtful leadership anchored in our shared values, I'll continue working to build a stronger future for all of Englewood.
