The City of Englewood has several boards, commissions and authorities made up of citizens, local business people, city employees and others who take an active interest in the city.
Serving on a board, commission or authority provides an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community. All boards and commission work closely with city council and city staff, often making recommendations on ways to improve the quality of services and quality of life for the residents of Englewood.
Board and Commission members are appointed by city council in February and July of every year.
Rotary Club of Englewood
We are a diverse group of professional men and women dedicated to service. In our community and around the world we create opportunities for children's educational and ethical development, prevent hunger and promote health.

Englewood Lions Club
Founded in 1926, the Englewood Lions Club serves our local community by supporting causes concerning diabetes, hunger, and homelessness, from preschoolers getting early eye exams to giving seniors and single moms support at the holidays with food and gifts.

The Englewood Depot’s (dba Letterpress Depot) mission is to give hands-on access to traditional letterpress equipment and other forms of book arts to allow the community to learn about, preserve, reimagine and redefine this beautiful art form for future generations. We aim to print with and for a diversity of voices, to reach out to those whose communities may have been marginalized, under-resourced or underserved. Museum of Outdoor Arts
Established as a non-profit arts organization in 1981, MOA is a forerunner in the placement of site-specific sculpture in Colorado. Our art collection is located within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From commercial office parks to botanic gardens, city parks and traditional sculpture gardens; art is placed to interpret space as “a museum without walls.”
Currently, MOA has nearly 40 artworks on public view within the downtown Englewood area.

Englewood Historic Preservation Society/Historic Englewood Museum
We have a broad-based mission, including the restoration and preservation of historic buildings, accepting, cataloging, and displaying donated artifacts, recording, transcribing and publishing the oral history of Englewood and its residents, providing interesting and educational lectures each month on historical subjects, and reaching out to our local schools to assist with instilling a love of history in the students.

Adopt-a-Spot
The City of Englewood’s Adopt-A-Spot and Adopt-A-Garden Programs were developed to support citizens in playing an active role in helping to keep the city’s parks, trails and streets clean, litter free and safe. Clayton Community Demonstration Garden
This is a unique community garden. It’s part of a partnership between Clayton Elementary School, Colorado Master Gardeners, and Denver Urban Gardens. The partnership aims to use the Colorado Master Gardeners’ plot to show and share gardening tips and techniques, and for Clayton students to learn about gardening and share their excitement and knowledge with their families and community.
