To anonymously report a non-emergency crime, contact the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers program. 

  • By phone: Call the tip line at 720-913-STOP (7867). 
  • Online: Submit a tip using the form at Metro Denver Crime Stoppers
  • For emergencies or incidents in progress, always call 9-1-1.

Filing a Police Report Online

Please call our Dispatch center on all in-progress calls – 9-1-1 (Emergency) or 303.761.7410 (Non-Emergency).

The information that you submit to the Englewood Police Department is an official report. By submitting this information you are making the following representation:

If you would like to make a phone report, please call our Dispatch Center at 303.761.7410 and we will have a Police Desk Officer call you back during normal business hours.

You can file a police report online for the following crimes or incidents:

  • Criminal Mischief
  • Criminal Tampering
  • Extra Patrol Request
  • Fraudulent Use of Credit Card
  • Hit and Run Accident (not regular Accident Reports)
  • Identity Theft/Fraud
  • Lost/Missing Property
  • Private Property Accident
  • Public Property Accident
  • Theft
  • Theft from Motor Vehicle - If reporting a STOLEN LICENSE PLATE OR MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT, please contact our non-emergency Dispatch at 303.761.7410 as this will expedite the entry of the plate into the nationwide database.

Requesting a Police Report

You can request an Accident Report online (additional fee required).

You can always request a copy of a report in person at our Records counter which is located at 3615 S. Elati St. (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Monday - Friday, holidays excluded).
