Many procedural changes have been implemented. These alternative procedures may allow for your attendance virtually or by phone rather than by physical appearance in court. All defendants should contact the Court at 303.762.2580 PRIOR to your initial court date in order to determine what procedures apply to you.
Englewood Municipal Court is a limited jurisdiction court serving the citizens of the City of Englewood, Colorado. The Court has jurisdiction over traffic violations, parking citations and local ordinances that include shoplifting, disturbances, assaults, code violations, animal violations and domestic violence matters. The City of Englewood has the only elected Municipal Judge in the State of Colorado.
The currently elected presiding Municipal Judge is Joe Jefferson. He began his 4 year term in January of 2018. He was re-elected in November 2021.
Associate municipal judges are appointed by City Council through recommendation of the elected municipal judge. Currently serving 4 year appointments are:

- David Sprecace
- Marjorie Nanian
