The Citizens Planning School (CPS), a dynamic and interactive program, intends to provide residents with a background in the fundamentals of city planning.
CPS is aimed at educating Englewood residents, neighborhood leaders, and future board and commission members. The program provides residents and business owners with the opportunity to learn about the city planning process and to participate in discussions and hands-on activities on how city planning helps shape our community. Classes will not address specific topics currently being discussed within the City.
Class size is limited to the first 20 participants registered and the program is sponsored by the City of Englewood. Participants are selected in the order applications are received. Registration deadline is February 28, 2020.
The school consists of 1.5-hour classes that will meet weekly for six weeks. The Spring session begins Thursday, March 12 at 6 pm at the Englewood Civic Center.
