The South Metro Enterprise Zone, in partnership with the City of Englewood and the City of Littleton, is proud to announce that it has been approved to offer a new contribution project. The COVID-19 Economic Development Response contribution project allows for donations to assist businesses that have had to close, have limited operations, or are in the process of reopening due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This approved contribution project is now open to receive donations.
The minimum donation is $100 and 100% of all donations will be distributed to eligible businesses that apply for assistance. As a donor, you will receive a 25% State of Colorado tax credit for your donation. Donations may be submitted through March 30, 2021.
How Will My Donation Be Used?
Donations will be used to assist eligible businesses, located within the South Metro Enterprise Zone, that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Examples of support that donations may fund include rent/mortgage payment, employee support (salaries, insurance, paid leave), utilities payment, expenses associated with marketing alternate hours or closures due to county and/or state restrictions, COVID-19 protection and cleaning supplies, and expenses to institute alternative business access (curbside pickup, delivery, etc.). This project will supplement other State, Federal and local programs for which businesses may be eligible.
