Tierra Encantada Daycare, 3080 S Broadway, has applied for an Amendment to a Planned Unit Development.    The developer is seeking to repurpose the former Walgreens to a children's daycare and early education facility.  A portion of the existing parking area will be removed for construction of a fence-enclosed outdoor play area. 

A neighborhood meeting and a public hearing with the planning and zoning commission are scheduled to receive public input.

The issue to be heard before the planning and zoning commission is a proposed Amendment to a Planned Unit Development for a new commercial daycare facility for 178 children.  The project proposes building modifications and two private outdoor play area spaces.  Anyone interested in this project may be heard at the public hearing.
