This grant supports energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction for businesses. The grant is on a first-come, first-served basis and is open until May 1, 2026. Grants are limited to $1,500 per business.
The Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN) uses these funds to purchase energy-saving and greenhouse gas reduction equipment for businesses across the state.
The program supports two types of projects:
- Equipment purchases for direct installation: CGBN will purchase the item and ship it directly to you for installation by yourself or a contractor you hire. Eligible items include motion sensors, smart power strips, LED exit signs, programmable thermostats, strip curtains, pipe insulation and energy efficient appliances.
- Custom projects: These involve sector-specific, energy-saving upgrades requiring customization or research. CGBN may cover equipment and contractor work, with a case-by-case cost share for projects over $1,500. Examples include LED lighting upgrades, EnergyStar appliances, ECMs for coolers or HVAC tune-ups.
