The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning due to forecasted high winds and dry conditions on Wednesday, December 17. While the City of Englewood is not currently in an impacted area, Xcel Energy is preparing for possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs elsewhere along the Front Range.

• Affected areas may include parts of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties
• Conditions are expected to improve Wednesday evening
• Restoration may take several hours or longer if inspections and repairs are needed
