On July 7, 2025 at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers from Englewood Police Department were dispatched to Pirates Cove Water Park regarding a sexual assault in progress.

Once on scene, Englewood Police Officers were able to identify and detain the suspect who was still in the park. It is alleged the suspect led a juvenile female into a family changing room where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on the following Charges:

18-3-405 Sexual Assault on a Child

18-3-302 2nd Degree Kidnapping
