The Community Development Department generates and commissions many plans and studies relevant to planning and economic development for the City of Englewood.

An updated comprehensive land use plan that represents the City's values and envisions the City's future by identifying locations of stability, transition, and catalytic change.

Complete Streets Toolbox
An initiative toward a community vision for mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented development patterns in Englewood's Downtown and Medical Districts

Economic Development Strategy
An economic development vision and work plan for the City of Englewood and the Englewood business community.

Approved February 7, 2005 by Resolution 41

Englewood Retail Assessment 
Documents local retail conditions; describes local and national retailing trends; evaluates key local retail concentrations; and defines centers with commercial development potential within Englewood.

Light Rail Corridor Plan 
A 20-year vision for the redevelopment of the Englewood Light Rail Corridor.

Next Steps Study 
Documents the results of a coordinated planning effort between the Cities of Englewood and Sheridan to improve community-wide access to the Southwest Light Rail Transit Corridor to encourage transit supportive development within the corridor and to stimulate private investment

A visionary plan for the Englewood Downtown and Medical Districts outlining goals and objectives for each district and strategies to accomplish those goals and objectives.

South Platte River Open Space Plan
A strategy for improvement of the South Platte River corridor.

Approved July 21, 2003 by Resolution 72

Walk and Wheel Master Plan 
Evaluates Englewood's walking and bicycling conditions and activities; provides recommendations for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and programs that improve safety, increase connectivity and transportation options.
